MODULO opens up the possibility for the user to select the desired cabinet elements. He can choose from modular elements and configure the Sideboard to his requirements. In this way the system can be determined in width, equipped with drawers, compartments, sliding and hinged doors while the elements are colored in a personal color scheme. The aluminium frames form the vertical supports of the sideboard. They arrange the elements irrespective of whether they are - open units or units closed by doors, drawers or covers. The horizontal lines are wooden elements running over the entire width. They finalize the corpus. The powder- coated sheet metal elements separate visually from the anodized aluminium frames and the wood. This forms a unit between the supporting, repetitive components and the appearance of the elements individually chosen by the user. Studio Marfa Our understanding of design is based on a conceptual approach. This means we provide a fundament for our designs to show their character through their formal aesthetics and materials. By this, we want to inspire people to build a relationship to their objects. We are - Florestan Schuberth and Janis Fromm - two design students from Hamburg, Germany. We founded Studio Marfa in 2015 as a platform to present our ideas and prototypes to the public. As individual designers, as well as good team players we love to enrich every project with enthusiasm and our personal perception. Since we started studying at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg we have the vision of creating products and furniture that tells a story. Website: studiomarfa.com Comments are closed.
