The Wolf is an invitation into the dreamlike world of tales. Our lives are escapades between realism and emotions, imaginary perceptions and Concrete. We are all a little hero of these adventures full of dreams and humor, both optimistic and dramatic. At any age, they entertain us as much as they build us up.
In 2015, David Corraux, graphic artist ceramist, created Maison LE LOUP, a house of manufacture and edition of contemporary ceramic objects. For "First Notebook", he invited us to enter an urban and dreamlike forest where the imagination is racing.
Through a singular and retro-futuristic universe, the House Le Loup presents an alternative and artistic ceramic, carrying a renewed aesthetic in this wonderful art that is both timeless and constantly evolving. This twenty-first century factory offers us "Première Meute", a collection of concrete objects for a more poetic everyday life. Maison LE LOUP invests a playground between singular artistic creation and craftsmanship, between unique pieces in limited series and works of art. Each piece is hand-made from scratch to the rhythm of a workshop-factory nestled in the heart of Lyon, France.
For the utility as for the decorative pieces, the drawings are made before cooking and the oxides tattoo the raw earth: the graphics do not and will never disappear! The secret? Beat with a delicacy of the wolf, assemble the purity of porcelain and therobustness of the sandstone, add a measure of colors, pour a touch of realism andincorporate a good dose of emotions.Bake at 1300 ° C for 10 hours ... and enjoy.
